  5. Move from messages to a first meeting

    Once the conversation feels easy, suggest something simple in a public place, such as coffee or a drink, and let her choose the time that suits her. If she says no or not yet, accept it and keep the door open without pushing.

  6. Meet safely

    Choose a public place, tell a friend where you are going and arrange your own way there and back. Keep personal details to yourself until you trust the person, leave if anything feels wrong, and respect it at once if she wants to leave.
